Walked down to the river
tossed my troubles from the shore
then the rippling disappeared
like all those troubles now gone from the day before
In the distance I watched them fade away
It was calm across the bay
It was still and the water clear
in that moment
I could feel you near
all it takes for me to face
another day
was asking for forgiveness
and your grace....
Lord, set me free
Walk near to me
and keep my path straight
even when I am questioning my faith
It's been a long journey
every day is a new lesson
each day there is a new blessing
to realize my cup is never empty
fills my soul and sets me free
from all this worry and anxiety
Set me free
All will be ok
because I have the Lord
as my shadow
no matter where I go
helping me along
when I need it the most
watching me grow
and never letting go
he never lets go

Exciting letter from Nashville but now I don't know what to do with it...I have put this stuff on the back burner for the last couple years since my kids are my life right now and I am a mom and wife first. I haven't even found time to write. I wish I knew someone who could help me out that knows the business...I had gotten a similar letter awhile back for almost all our songs and I think its still in my files but at that point it was outrageous what I would have to pay upfront. Now it's not as much.
I guess it also stems from a lack of self confidence.
And you can also spend a lot of money with no return.
Kind of like the lottery but if you don't play you can't win...
I want to get back to it but just when I think I have found the time it slips away. So I just carry a journal with me all the time in case I get a thought or idea in my head I can write it down. Funny how they always come to me on my runs or in the car and I don't have a pen and paper!! I am not that good at remembering them either when I get back. Oh well. One day maybe it will all come together...When I look back and put together about 10 different pages of notes and maybe come up with a song:)
If I knew more about the business or knew someone who could offer some helpful advice that would be wonderful but so far that has not happened either....
HMMM...what to do.

Wrapping Up
May has become the new December!
I have been so busy with wrapping up the school year for the kiddos the last thing I have had time to do is keep with this blog.
The ironic thing is I get more writing done when they are home because I am not out trying to get everything done before they get home! At least they are upstairs playing nicely.
I hope to catch up on this soon.
Following up on Jordan: his Dr. said just to keep an eye on it because that is strange but nothing to be alarmed about unless it continues. It only happened a couple more times but not like that and he was just damp. So I am going to note it and move on....He is done with 3 year old preschool next week and then onto 4s! He's growing up too fast!
Braedyn is doing well and allergy season was awful but we survived not only that but EOGs this week! He had his first experience of End of Grade tests. He was nervous but everything went great and he was fine with them.
He is wrapping up baseball with the tournament coming up.
Cooper is doing wonderful in school. He wraps up baseball on Saturday. He has his evaluations and tryouts for Carolina Stars hockey team the 31st and 1st. Just when hockey was done it starting back up. This is a new team and exciting as it is being coached by an ex NHL player. He is pretty excited.
Everything is going great and just looking forward to reconnecting with my children once summer and activities are done!

Not A Gold Medal Moment Again!
This morning Jordan had woke up and called for me. When I went up there he said, "I am all sweaty mom, I'm wet, I need new pants". It was everywhere and it was soaking wet his pants were almost dripping wet. I instantly thought he had wet the bed, but that would be VERY odd for him because he has never wet the bed he wore pull ups until a couple weeks ago because I was too tired in the mornings to have to even think about dealing with a wet bed but he had been dry for so long I figured it was time to wear big boy undies to bed. On Wednesday, he had woke up and told me was all sweaty. He was wet but not were one would think he had wet himself. So I just thought he was sweaty.
Back to this morning, so I changed him kind of in a gruf and half awake because I was disappointed and tired to have to deal with that when I was sick on top of it at 6 am. Then he kept repeating, "I did not wet the bed". I just said trying not to sound upset..."I am not mad and lets go lay down in my room and go back to sleep". Then I thought, how creative of a 3 year old child to say he was sweating instead of peeing his bed". Clever...but then I thought, he knew better than to lie to us.
The day went on and I didn't think about it again until we were laying bed. I got done reading and he said, "I'm sweaty again". I felt him he didn't feel hot or anything so I laid with him until he fell asleep, kissed him goodnight and shut his door. Then I got to thinking maybe he was telling the truth...it didn't smell like pee and he was so sure he did not pee the bed to the point he was crying that he did not pee the bed...
I walked back up there after about 10 -15 minutes of sleep and he was soaking wet and even his little hands were sweating. I thought that was strange. I also thought that's just great, I feel awful, I was telling him "don't lie to me if you peed the bed I am not going to be mad just tell me you peed the bed". Geez I was like a detective in the interrogation room. That's the picture I had in my mind as I am replaying the morning situation. How my face told a story of a disappointed mom. I also made him wear a pull up to bed much at his dismay. Wonderful....Poor guy. I am so sorry! I felt awful. He was telling the truth. It was sweat! So instantly your mind starts wondering how strange...I mean, I sweat at night but that's my hormones! Why is a 3 year old sweating like that??? So I did google searches (which I should know better right!...of course many things came up~normal things and not so normal things...
I am assuming he is just a kid that is overheating at night... but I think I will still call the Dr. in the morning. This has never happened to any of my other kids unless they are fighting a fever and he does not have a fever nor is sick. Anybody else ever experience this?
