Update on mom
My mom is doing quite well, considering all that she has been through in the last 4 months!
They just came to visit and drove from MN to spend a long weekend with us.
She has finished PT and her balance is still just a little off but she is walking just not fast. Her eyesight has yet to return to normal. She sees double and it is blurry. They say that will and is suppose to correct itself overtime so we will see how that comes along.
All of her repeat and check up scans and follow up appointments show no more tumor growth and she is just to be followed by her Doctor with repeat scans.
She can't drive or go to work and that is frustrating I am sure but she is here and recovered amazingly from having her brain opened up and sewed back shut.
It's hard to see your mom not exactly the same as she was but I am happy she is still here and for the most part the same mom and grandma she was before the brain tumor.
Basketball 2016
White Cross Basketball for another year and all three played. Cooper and Jordan played when they didn't have hockey and Charlie coached all of their teams.
Palms tournament for Jr Canes Squirt AA minor team
Cooper's last tournament was in Tampa Bay of all places! He and Charlie got to have a father son hockey weekend in Tampa. They had a blast and the games were very exciting as one of them to get into the championship day went to two over times and 5 shootouts.
He made some great memories and had a fun weekend and the boys played their hearts out.
They got second place.
